Job Description
Join the magic at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa as a Carpet Cleaner. In this full-time role, you'll ensure cleanliness in both public and private areas of the resort, providing a welcoming environment for guests while enjoying comprehensive benefits and a dynamic work atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
Clean carpets, stairways and maintain floor surfaces in lobbies
Clean walls, doors, windows, and ceilings in all lobbies
Clean up after guests
Work with other departments to complete activities safely
Maintain off-stage support areas including offices, break rooms, restrooms, and locker rooms
Use various types of vacuums for cleaning
Required Qualifications
Flexible and adaptable to various areas and conditions
Previous experience in a self-directed role requiring little supervision
Proactive in communicating concerns and reacting to situations
Enthusiastic about interacting with and helping guests
Friendly and outgoing personality
Receptive to special requests and anticipates guests' needs
Self-directed with the ability to complete repetitive tasks while maintaining quality
Comfortable in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment
Willing to follow instruction and take direction
Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
Constantly walking/standing
Frequently pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs, occasionally up to 100 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
Enjoys cleaning
Previous experience in a hotel housekeeping environment
Experience cleaning office buildings, hospitals, restaurants, etc.
Previous carpet care experience
Understanding of using encapsulation, extraction, and odor-eliminating machines
Knowledge of Hawaiian/Japanese language
