Registered Nurse – Inpatient Behavioral Health  

Location: Jackson, Michigan 

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (November 25, 2025 – February 21, 2026) 

Shift: 12-Hour Nights 7p-7:30a, 3 Days per Week 

Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Position Summary  

We are seeking an experienced Behavioral Health RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Jackson, Michigan. This role involves providing compassionate, high-quality care in an inpatient behavioral health setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and the ability to lead and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Supervise, delegate, and document care and education for patients and families
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Identify and implement solutions for variances from patient goals
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and standards

Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN license
• Minimum two years of inpatient behavioral health experience
• BLS certification through AHA
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Epic EMR experience required

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
• De-escalation training (Welle), CPI training, recipient rights training
• Experience with seclusion and restraint protocols

• Hospital provides scrubs (ciel blue)
• No on-call required
