Travel Nursing Job Details – Windsor, VT

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: December 8, 2025 – End: March 9, 2026)
• Location: Windsor, Vermont (VT) – 05089
• Healthcare Setting: Acute Med/Surg Telemetry Unit (may float to Acute Rehab as needed)
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Hours: 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• EMR: Cerner
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4/5
• Average Daily Census: 22 patients
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1950-$2090
• On-site parking available
• Reliable transportation required (no public transportation available)

Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications

• Active Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg or Rehab nursing experience
• At least 3 months of prior travel nursing experience
• Charge RN experience required
• BSN preferred
• Ability to float between Med/Surg and Acute Rehab units
• Must have own reliable vehicle
• Permanent address must be included in application
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with application (maximum 5 days)
• Local travelers (within 50 miles) not eligible

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver total nursing care for patients on the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Serve as backup Charge Nurse as needed
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and ancillary staff
• Document all patient care in Cerner EMR
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and professional nursing standards
• Adhere to attendance, scheduling, holiday, and weekend requirements
