Position Overview

The CT Technologist is responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images to assist physicians and other members of the healthcare team in diagnosing and monitoring patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret orders provided by physicians or prescribing medical professionals
• Explain CT scan procedures to patients and ensure their comfort and safety
• Properly position patients to obtain necessary images
• Administer IV contrast dyes as needed to enhance imaging
• Review images for quality and usability
• Update and maintain accurate patient medical information
• Clean and maintain CT equipment regularly
• Manage inventory and restock CT supplies as needed

Requirements:

• Experience: 2 + years of CT scan experience (may consider first-time travelers with strong experience)
• Certification: ARRT
• BLS (AHA) – required at submission
• Active MA License – required
• Driver’s License: Must match demographic information
• Flu Vaccine: Required during flu season

• EMR Experience: EPIC preferred
