NCC Adjunct Faculty - Air Traffic Control

Nashua Community College is seeking qualified individuals who are interested in adjunct teaching at the College on a course-by-course basis; strong academic background is required. Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period and may require in classroom or online instruction.

We are in need of Air Traffic Control instructors to teach basic Air Traffic Control Classes.

Fall 2025: Tuesdays, 8am-12pm

Spring 2026: Tuesdays, 8am-12pm

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Education: Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited college or technical school with major study in aviation technology, education, business administration, engineering or related field.
2. Experience: Six (6) years of teaching experience in the aviation technology field or six (6) years of military or FAA experience in Air Traffic Control.
3. License/Certification: FAA or Military Air Traffic Control certification.

Preferred Qualifications/Certifications: FAA instructor experience, recent Air Traffic Control experience, adjunct teaching experience.

Salary: The salary range for this position is $800-$950 per contact hour. The rate will be determined by the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.
