Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot sources of equipment problems using precision measuring and testing instruments
  • Assist with emergency and non-emergency repairs
  • Troubleshoot and repair Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s)
  • Follow blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer’s instructions
  • Perform boiler chemical and wastewater pre-treatment system testing
  • Conduct daily and weekly safety checks on boilers
  • Inspect and maintain motors, belts, fluid levels, and other equipment
  • Perform basic welding activities for repairs
  • Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year work experience in industrial maintenance
  • Knowledgeable in industrial maintenance of facilities and equipment
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills
  • Lockout / Tagout experience
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two-year technical degree in an appropriate background
  • Applicable military experience will be considered
