Job Description
Join Zen Educate as a Paraprofessional and make a difference in the lives of special education students. This role involves working closely with students, providing essential support in academic and social settings, and contributing to a nurturing classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist licensed staff in implementing academic adaptations and IEPs
Support students individually or in small groups with self-care and social/behavioral needs
Maintain a safe and conducive classroom environment
Provide timely support for students in crisis situations
Utilize various learning methods to enhance student engagement
Required Qualifications
60 college credits or higher or passing score on the Paraeducator Assessment or Paraprofessional Assessment
Professional proficiency in English
U.S. Work Authorization
Preferred Qualifications
ParaPro Certification
Behavioral Technician or PCA experience
Experience in a school setting with children with special needs
