Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and monitor medicine and surgery at veterinary clinics
  • Train veterinarians in spay/neuter techniques
  • Support a positive work culture through coaching and feedback
  • Perform high quality spay/neuter surgical procedures
  • Provide preventive and basic care to patients
  • Schedule staff for optimal coverage

Required Qualifications

  • Current California State Veterinary License
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA accredited veterinary college
  • Minimum one year of experience in high quality, high volume spay/neuter
  • Minimum three years veterinary experience in small animal medicine and surgery
  • Excellent work attendance record
  • Fear Free® Shelter certification within 60 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous people management experience
