DextroMedical is seeking a LPN / LVN Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Skilled Nursing for a local contract job in Peterborough, New Hampshire.
A skilled nursing facility is seeking a dependable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their care team for a 9-week day shift contract. This position is ideal for a licensed professional with experience in long-term or post-acute care who is committed to providing high-quality, resident-centered care. The facility has a preference for travel nurses with strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
Provide routine nursing care to residents under the supervision of an RN or physician
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with care plans and regulatory guidelines
Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment
Assist residents with activities of daily living and ensure a safe and clean environment
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary care teams
Accurately complete documentation and maintain updated resident records
Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies
Participate in shift reports and ensure proper handoff of care
Requirements:
Active LPN license in the state of assignment
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
Two professional references
Updated resume reflecting relevant experience
Completed skills checklist
Additional Information:
Consistent day shift schedule with rotating weekdays and weekends
Travel nurses are highly preferred
Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment
Shift: Days
Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
Weekly Hours: 40
Local Pay Rate: $40/hr on W2.
