Travel Pay Rate : (above 50 miles)

• Hourly:$55.7/hr W2 + $1,477/week (non - taxable stipend)
• Gross :$3,705/weekly

Position Summary:

The Cath Lab Technologist performs specialized cardiovascular procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating heart and vascular conditions. The role involves operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for invasive procedures, monitoring patient hemodynamics, and ensuring a safe, efficient environment in the catheterization lab. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and experienced in fast-paced cardiac care settings.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, pacemaker/ICD placements, and electrophysiology procedures.
• Operate fluoroscopy, hemodynamic monitoring systems, and imaging equipment during procedures.
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor patient vitals throughout invasive cardiac procedures.
• Assist physicians with catheter insertion, guidewires, balloons, stents, and other cardiovascular devices.
• Administer contrast media under physician supervision and follow radiation-safety guidelines.
• Document procedures accurately in the EMR and maintain log of all supplies, medications, and implants used.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure all equipment is set up and functioning properly.
• Provide emergency support during complications, including code situations.
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists, nurses, radiologic technologists, and EP teams.
• Perform post-procedure patient care, including site monitoring and reporting changes in condition.
  Required Qualifications:
• Active State license.
• 2 years of experience.
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• ARRT - Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• ODH Ohio Radiologic License
• BLS/ACLS Certification
• Need to scrub Heath caths and IR cases

• Knowledge of anatomy, exposure, positioning, physics, radiation protection,

  medical terminology.
