Job Description
Optum is seeking a PET/CT Technologist to join our Mount Kisco, NY team. In this role, you will perform PET/CT scans, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure patient safety, all while contributing to a collaborative, supportive healthcare environment aimed at improving community health.
Key Responsibilities
Performing PET/CT scans and ensuring proper scanning parameters are set
Administering radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately
Ensuring patient safety during scans and implementing radiation safety procedures
Capturing high-quality images and collaborating with radiologists for interpretation
Maintaining and calibrating equipment, performing quality control tests
Following protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Required Qualifications
Completion of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program or equivalent education
Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the ARRT (N), and state-specific licensure
CT certified
