As a Maintenance Technician II at Marriott, you will ensure guest satisfaction by responding to repair requests and performing preventive maintenance on various systems. Your expertise in multiple maintenance categories will be vital in maintaining the hotel's operational efficiency and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to and attend to guest repair requests
Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
Inspect tools, equipment, or machines
Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts as needed
Display proficiency in various maintenance categories
Communicate daily activities and issues with other shifts
Follow company safety and security policies
Assist with surface preparation and painting
Perform mid-level troubleshooting of MEP systems
Train and mentor other engineers
Required Qualifications
Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification
Must meet applicable state and federal certification and/or licensing requirements
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and vocational or technical background
Experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting
At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience
