Key Responsibilities
Provides treatments to patients by evaluating function and applying appropriate treatments.
Conducts and modifies evaluations based on patient symptoms and medical status.
Utilizes effective techniques to assist in normalizing speech and language activity.
Educates patients/families in home exercise programs to maximize independent functional activity.
Documents in accordance with insurance guidelines and adheres to departmental policies.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
Holds current Connecticut license for Speech Language Pathology.
Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Basic personal computer skills in Windows based programs (Word, Outlook, Excel).
Access to reliable transportation for travel between multiple work sites.
