Job Description
Join Good Samaritan as a Certified Medication Assistant and provide compassionate care to residents while administering medications and assisting with daily living activities. Make a difference in the lives of seniors in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance
Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse
Document outcomes related to resident care and medication administration
Assist residents with daily living activities and basic health care needs
Communicate changing conditions and care-related concerns to the charge nurse
Required Qualifications
High school graduate or GED preferred
Minimum age of 18 preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Successful completion of a state-approved Certified Medication Aide/Assistant course
Preferred Qualifications
Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care
Maintains a record of continuing education credits
Valid driver's license and auto insurance (when applicable)
