Job Description
Join BioLife Plasma Services as a Health Screener, where you'll play a vital role in collecting life-changing plasma. You'll greet donors, perform phlebotomy, and ensure a positive donation experience while contributing to operational improvements in a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor
Perform venipuncture of donors and programming of plasmapheresis machine
Monitor donors during the donation process and manage donor reactions
Perform setup, verification, operation, and troubleshooting of plasmapheresis equipment
Stock supplies and assist with proper disposal
Record donor health metrics and monitor electronic donor questionnaire system
Coordinate donors on the donor floor and compensate using the Debit Card system
Support center management in identifying operational opportunities for improvement
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
Fine motor coordination and depth perception
Ability to hear equipment from a distance
1 or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient facing role is helpful
