Job Description
As a Child Care Teacher at Stratton Mountain Resort, you will be responsible for the health and education of children, implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, and ensuring compliance with state regulations. Key Responsibilities
Interact with children and ensure their safety during activities
Create and implement an age-appropriate curriculum
Foster communication between parents and caregivers
Develop and maintain portfolios for children
Perform behavioral and cognitive assessments
Organize and prepare for parent-teacher conferences
Complete 24 hours of approved professional development annually
Uphold state licensing requirements and regulations
Report any suspected abuse or neglect
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 21 college credits in Early Education or a qualifying Associate's Degree
At least 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare center or as an Early Elementary Educator
Must be at least 20 years of age
First Aid & CPR Certified
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Windows, Word, Outlook, and Excel
Detail oriented
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
