Job Description
Join The Jewish Board as a Social Worker in Staten Island, where you'll provide high-quality, evidence-based mental health services to individuals and families. You'll work in a supportive environment that values diversity and focuses on trauma-informed care.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and psychosocial assessments
Develop treatment plans in collaboration with clients and family members
Provide individual, group, family, and crisis services/interventions
Liaise with families, schools, and community agencies to coordinate care
Maintain documentation according to standards
Participate in clinical meetings and trainings
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in counseling, creative arts, or social work from an accredited program
New York State License or limited permit in Mental Health Counseling (LMHC); Creative Arts Therapy (LCAT), or social work (LMSW)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience treating children or adolescents
Fluency in a second language
