Job Description
Join Cooper University Health Care as a Patient Services Representative and play a crucial role in supporting patients and healthcare teams. You will manage administrative and scheduling needs while ensuring a seamless experience for patients in innovative health programs.
Key Responsibilities
Answer and field phone calls and voicemail messages
Monitor assigned front desk pools and document events in patients' digital health record
Schedule and confirm patient appointments, perform check-in/check-out
Prepare patient charts and information prior to scheduled appointments
Facilitate activation of patient’s MyChart account
Support patient screening for digital remote patient monitoring program eligibility
Order/ship digital remote monitoring devices and confirm patient receipt
Collaborate with patients, caregivers, providers, and healthcare team members
Maintain privacy and confidentiality for all patients
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum one year of recent registration or billing experience in a medical facility
Proficiency in patient registration, scheduling, medical insurance pre-certifications, authorizations, and referrals
Excellent organizational, written/verbal communication, and teamwork skills
