Key Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with suppliers to assist and advise on supply economics and strategies.
  • Forecast supply requirements monthly and annually.
  • Manage P and L for assigned territory.
  • Increase sales and margins by prospecting new customers.
  • Facilitate long-term relationships with suppliers and customers.
  • Prepare sales presentations, contracts, and proposals.
  • Create and execute innovative sales and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with other CHS divisions to leverage business relationships.
  • Demonstrate effective cross-selling success.
  • Apply CHS sales cycle to achieve targeted results.
  • Maintain a strong safety culture and follow safety policies.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma and/or GED
  • 4+ years of sales, business development, business operations or related experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Agronomy sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree in agriculture, business, or related field
  • Outside sales experience including presentations and customer service
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
