Key Responsibilities
Patient telephonic outreach to schedule patients for PSU health events
Collect and verify demographic information and insurance eligibility
Notify patients about upcoming appointments and assist with rescheduling
Enter dispositions for calls made to patients in WellMed system
Monitor call frequency to ensure compliance
Use telephonic software for outreach calls and manage inbound calls
Follow call script for outreach calls
Support individual PSU provider requests for patient scheduling
Direct follow-up on patient messages and concerns
Meet established daily productivity goals
Establish professional relationships with patients and staff
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
1+ years of experience in communicating and providing customer service, both in person and via phone
1+ years of experience with general office procedures
Beginner level of proficiency with Microsoft applications
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of related work experience including data entry
ICD 10 and CPT coding experience
Prior experience with EMR computer applications
Bilingual – Spanish/English
