Key Responsibilities

  • Patient telephonic outreach to schedule patients for PSU health events
  • Collect and verify demographic information and insurance eligibility
  • Notify patients about upcoming appointments and assist with rescheduling
  • Enter dispositions for calls made to patients in WellMed system
  • Monitor call frequency to ensure compliance
  • Use telephonic software for outreach calls and manage inbound calls
  • Follow call script for outreach calls
  • Support individual PSU provider requests for patient scheduling
  • Direct follow-up on patient messages and concerns
  • Meet established daily productivity goals
  • Establish professional relationships with patients and staff

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 1+ years of experience in communicating and providing customer service, both in person and via phone
  • 1+ years of experience with general office procedures
  • Beginner level of proficiency with Microsoft applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of related work experience including data entry
  • ICD 10 and CPT coding experience
  • Prior experience with EMR computer applications
  • Bilingual – Spanish/English
