Job Description
Join BioLife Plasma Services as a Paramedic/EMT-P, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring donor safety and eligibility while collecting life-changing plasma. You'll work under medical guidance, handle donor emergencies, and contribute to a team dedicated to quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and medical history interview
Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies
Refer to Center Physician for unacceptable findings or guidance
Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs
Manage employee incidents and evaluate further needs
Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Currently licensed or certified in the state as EMT-Paramedic
Current CPR and AED certification
Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy
Satisfactorily complete FDA approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
Two years in a clinical or hospital setting
