Key Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation and use of equipment, supplies, instruments for surgical intervention
Set up and maintain a sterile field
Apply principles of infection control, safety, and aseptic technique
Comply with all hospital and department policies/procedures
Required Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
Completion of an accredited RN First Assist program
Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
Certification as a Operating Room RN (CNOR) upon hire
3 years - Operating room scrub experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree - From an accredited nursing program
Provider Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association upon hire
1 year - In a Surgical First Assistant role
