Job Description:
Join a dedicated surgical team as an RNFA providing comprehensive perioperative care. Your role will support multiple specialties in a primarily outpatient OR setting, with occasional inpatient emergency cases.

Duties Include:

• Clamping, ligating, and suturing during procedures
• Managing retraction, suctioning, and exposure of operative sites
• Assisting surgeons in complex procedures across orthopedics, ENT, OB/GYN, and more
• Functioning as second assistant as needed
• Using electronic documentation and medication systems (Epic, Pyxis)

Certifications Required:

• RN License – Illinois (active)
• CNOR – Required
• RNFA certification from AORN-approved program – Required
• BLS (AHA) – Required
• ACLS – Preferred

Experience Required:

• 2+ years of recent OR experience in multiple surgical specialties
• Comfortable assisting and scrubbing
• Familiarity with EPIC
