Job Description
Join Medical City Dallas as an RN Bone Marrow Transplant Supervisor, where you'll lead a dedicated team in providing high-quality, patient-centered care. This role involves coordinating nursing care, enhancing team collaboration, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care
Participates in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit
Collaborates with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork
Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary
Supports the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies
Provides recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff
Assists with staff scheduling and manages all practical aspects of staff labor
Supports proper inventory control and assists with managing supplies and equipment
Required Qualifications
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
Registered Nurse
Associate Degree or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
