• Unit: Operating Room (OR) – General Surgery Procedures
• Start Date: December 8, 2025
• End Date: March 8, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 8-hour days (Monday & Friday), 12-hour days (Tuesday & Thursday), intermittent call coverage
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2330 - $2500
• On-Site Position

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license (required for Illinois healthcare jobs)
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Ability to take intermittent call (covering vacations and call-ins)
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of O'Fallon, IL
• Ability to provide requested time off (RTO) at submission

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients during surgical procedures in the Operating Room
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare staff for optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain a sterile and safe environment in the OR
• Monitor patients pre-op, intra-op, and post-op
• Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call rotation
• Accurately document all aspects of patient care
