Job Description
Join Cedar Point as a Maintenance Ride Mechanic, where you will ensure the safety and efficiency of amusement rides through inspections, maintenance, and repairs. This full-time role offers various shifts and the chance to work with a dynamic team in a fun environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform inspections, maintenance, lubrication, troubleshooting, and repair of amusement rides
Operate machine shop equipment
Notify maintenance of equipment problems and necessary building repairs
Maintain inventory of equipment
Assist in inspection, routine maintenance, and repairs of rides
Maintain daily log sheets of inspections and repairs
Required Qualifications
High school graduate or GED
Must provide own hand tools
Must join Laborers Union
Good record and writing skills
Able to work at heights
Experience in electronic, electrical, and mechanical work
Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools
Ability to follow manufacturer's manuals and blueprints
Ability to pass a mandatory drug test
Ability to pass a background check
