Key Job Details – Med/Surg Telemetry RN (Travel Nursing)

• Location: Cleveland, OH 44125 (Ohio nursing jobs)
• Facility Setting: Medical/Surgical Telemetry – 3 East/West Units
• Employment Type: Travel RN / Locum Tenens
• Contract Length: 18 weeks (09/05/2025 – 01/09/2026)
• Shift Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts/week (7:00pm – 7:30am)
• Alternative Schedules: 2x12, 3x12, or 4x12-hour shifts available
• Total Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1780–$1910 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (prior to travel)
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license (required at submission)
• Current American Heart Association BLS & ACLS certifications
• Willing to obtain NIHSS certification before start date
• One recent supervisory reference in Med/Surg Telemetry (manager, ANM, supervisor, director, or charge RN)
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 48 hours of contract signing
• Negative 10-panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) drug screen within 12 months of start

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor, interpret, and respond to cardiac rhythms and patient condition changes
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Participate in unit-based assessments and required orientation modules
