Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Obtain accurate and updated patient information
Perform insurance verification
Obtain patient signatures for required documents
File and maintain medical records
Confirm and schedule appointments
Answer telephone calls and take messages
Perform referral documentation
Adhere to HIPAA and OSHA requirements
Provide effective communication to patients and healthcare professionals
Participate in planning and coordinating care
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
1+ years of customer service experience
Intermediate level of computer proficiency including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to travel to other offices if needed for coverage
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of experience working in medical front office
1+ years of experience with phone communication
Knowledge of EMR software
Bilingual in Spanish or English
