Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new clients and families
  • Provide individual and family outpatient therapy tailored to client needs
  • Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans
  • Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning
  • Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and authorization forms
  • Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and other therapists

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field
  • Provisional license as required by state regulations
  • Educational background leading to or resulting in professional licensure
  • Passion for mental health and commitment to providing high-quality care
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development in mental health
  • Desire to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport
  • Effective time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese
