Key Responsibilities

  • Escort patients and complete patient intake
  • Clean and straighten exam rooms
  • Prepare syringes and administer injections
  • Assist with injectable procedures
  • Prepare and route pathology and lab specimens
  • Respond to patient inquiries
  • Schedule appointments
  • Comply with OSHA and HIPAA standards
  • Maintain medication samples and records
  • Train other employees
  • Assist with front desk procedures
  • Perform additional duties as required

Required Qualifications

  • At least one year of medical assisting experience
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant program
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly with doctors and patients
  • Ability to lift at least 15 pounds and stand for prolonged periods
