Key Responsibilities
Implements physician orders and administers medications
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests
Assesses and evaluates patient needs and responses to care
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses
Collaborates with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care
Directs and guides ancillary personnel
Required Qualifications
Graduate of a professional academic nursing program
Current NYS Registered Nurse license
Certification in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC
1-3 years of clinical nursing experience in an Emergency Department
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a large academic, Level 1 Trauma Center
