Cath Lab Tech – Contract Position
Shift: 3x12s Days | 5:30 AM – 6:00 PM | Includes weekends & on-call
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech for a dynamic team operating in a 3-room Cath Lab/IR suite (including a hybrid room). This role involves both cardiac and peripheral cases, with procedures including PCI, LHC/RHC, pacemaker and Mediport placements, dialysis catheters, nephrostomies, and more. Candidates must have solid scrub and/or imaging experience and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a 4-person team: 2 RNs and 2 Techs per case (1 scrub, 1 imaging)
• Perform scrub and/or imaging duties depending on credentials
• Assist in interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures, as well as IR cases
• Participate in the on-call and weekend rotation, with 30-minute response time
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow safety protocols
• Collaborate with cardiologists and nursing staff to ensure patient safety and efficiency

Requirements:

• 2+ years of Cath Lab experience (required)
• Experience with IR and peripheral vascular procedures
• Proficient in: impella, IABP, IVUS, FFR, IFR, swan-ganz, shockwave, roto systems
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI required
• ARRT preferred for dual scrub/imaging capabilities
• BLS (AHA required)
• Familiarity with GE MacLab (transitioning to Philips Xper in 2026)
• EMR: Cerner Soarian
• Must be willing to take call (2 shifts/week + every 3rd weekend + possible holiday rotation)
• Must reside 30+ minutes from the facility for call response compliance

Additional Info:

• 2–3 orientation shifts with preceptor provided
• Scrub uniforms provided (Royal Blue)
• No floating required
• Block scheduling not available
