Key Responsibilities
Administers the nursing program in a long term care facility
Facilitates the optimization of the geriatric care process
Responsible for the overall quality of care provided by nursing personnel
Advises medical staff and department heads on nursing service
Monitors operations of nursing staff for compliance with regulations
Schedules staff and conducts employee performance reviews
Develops and implements marketing activities/programs
Required Qualifications
Five years nursing experience
Currently holds an unencumbered RN license
Thorough knowledge of the nursing practice act and standards of nursing care
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing
Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
Experience in housing with services, HUD, and/or assisted living
