Job DescriptionJoin Zen Educate as a Special Education Aide this summer and make a difference in the lives of K–12 students with autism and behavioral needs. Collaborate with teachers to provide essential support, implement behavior plans, and create a positive learning environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesImplement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Provide one-on-one or small group behavioral support Collaborate with teachers and behavior specialists Track and document behavioral data Partner with special education staff, behavior analysts, and families Support students with daily routines such as toileting, feeding, or mobility Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma Experience supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs Experience providing personal care support Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to stay calm and patient in challenging situations US Work Authorization English proficiency Passion for supporting students Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting children with autism, complex or severe emotional needs, or in roles such as ABA therapy Experience in special education, particularly with moderate to severe behaviors Bachelor’s Degree Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies Additional training in behavioral techniques Benefits & PerksWeekly pay Paid Sick Leave 401K (certain eligibility criteria)
