Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement orientation programs for staff
Conduct General Orientation incorporating OSHA and regulations
Promote staff development and teamwork
Develop lesson plans and conduct in-service programs
Lead infection prevention and control programs
Participate in quality improvement activities
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
Current RN license in the state of employment
CPR/AED certification (or willing to obtain within six months)
Minimum of five years of recent clinical nursing experience
Ability to manage time and organize daily schedule
Preferred Qualifications
BSN or related baccalaureate preparation in education
Certified as a CPR instructor
Certified as an Instructor for the Missouri Nurse Assistant Training program
Educational and supervisory/management experience
Previous experience in long-term care
