Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

BAE Systems is seeking an experienced and energetic Chief Engineer (CE) to help lead our established and rapidly expanding engineering team in the CEMA Business Area. Our employees work on the world s most advanced electronics, you ll be among the brightest minds, working on the aerospace and defense industry s most difficult problems. We are looking for a CE who can successfully assess customer technical requirements and lead the effort to derive the system technical baseline for a major new program. In this role you will be the hands on technical lead of a program, ensuring the system(s), product(s), and service(s) being developed and delivered are viable, fit for purpose, and will satisfy customer needs, product/system requirements, and the mission and/or application. Active Secret Security clearance and ability to obtain Special Access clearances
Experience designing, building, testing and integrating small form factor payloads
MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related discipline
Authoring white papers/RFIs for US Gov't customers
Full-Time Salary Range: $140690 - $239140
This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
