Job Description
Join Kaiser as a Psychologist in the Child Team, where you'll provide vital mental health services to children and families. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive treatment plans and foster positive mental health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement clinical treatment programs for mental illness
Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups
Conduct psychological assessments and maintain confidential records
Collaborate with physicians for psychotropic medication screening
Provide clinical supervision to psychology interns and trainees
Participate in departmental program development and evaluation
Required Qualifications
PhD/PsyD/EdD in Clinical Counseling, Health or School Psychology from an accredited college or university
Psychologist License (California) within 6 months of hire
National Provider Identifier required at hire
Familiarity with DSM-V for diagnosis
Experience in assessing, diagnosing and treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions
Knowledge of Evidence-Based Practice and psychotherapy research methods
Knowledge of the bio-psycho-social functions that contribute to mental health
Competence in individual, family and group psychotherapy
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Previous clinical responsibility to include crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy
Experience in psychological evaluations of adults, children, adolescents, and families
Demonstrated professional maturity and ethical integrity
Commitment to quality of service and teamwork
Ability to complete multiple tasks/objectives in a timely manner
