Job Description
Join The Jewish Board as a Crisis Behavioral Health Clinician, where you'll provide critical on-site interventions for children and young adults in mental health crises. Collaborate with a dedicated team to create safety plans and implement effective treatment strategies, making a significant impact in the Staten Island community.
Key Responsibilities
Provide culturally competent crisis interventions
Conduct risk assessments and psychosocial evaluations
Create safety plans with clients and families
Develop and implement short-term service plans
Utilize evidenced based practices for clinical interventions
Maintain case documentation in electronic health record system
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
Assist with audit preparation
Work with Clinical Director and/or Program Supervisor on intake process
Enhance communication with Family Advocates
Required Qualifications
Licensed Mental Health clinician
Valid NYS Driver's License
Minimum of one year of relevant experience with similar client population
Proficient reading and writing English
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual clinicians (if relevant to the population serviced)
