Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, integration, and testing of radar signal processing algorithms
  • Support budget, schedule, development, execution, and completion of complex program objectives
  • Use and modify simulations for radar algorithms and models
  • Participate in engineering lab environments for testing and validation
  • Mentor team members and provide signal processing knowledge

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
  • Radar signal processing experience on missile system applications
  • Proficiency in C++ programming language and object-oriented software design
  • Experience with algorithm design, implementation, analysis, testing, and optimization
  • Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related discipline
  • Experience with version control tools such as Azure DevOps and Git
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in multiple algorithms including adaptive processing, angle estimation techniques, synthetic aperture radar (SAR), radar applications of machine learning, waveform design, or tracking algorithms
  • Proficiency in using MATLAB or Python for evaluation of data sets
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with hardware/software integration
  • Experience managing or leading others in a technical and/or functional capacity
  • Ability to interface with adjacent engineering disciplines
