Radiology Technologist Job Details – Washington, DC

• Job Title: Locum Tenens Radiology Technologist – Electrophysiology Lab
• Location: Washington, DC (20010)
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel Contract)
• Healthcare Setting: Short Term Acute Care, Teaching Hospital, EP Lab
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/10/2025 – End: 2/9/2026)
• Shifts: 3x12-hour shifts per week (Day/Evening: 07:00-19:00 or 11:00-23:00)
• Total Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2130-$2280
• On Call/Weekend Requirement: None
• Floating Requirement: None
• Average Daily Caseload: 18 cases

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab
• Active or pending DC Radiology Technologist license
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCES or CCI RCIS
• Preferred certifications: ARRT, Fluoro permit
• Proficiency with Cerner charting system
• Experience with Philips X-Ray, Siemens X-Ray, and GE Micropacer equipment
• Two supervisor references required
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

Key Responsibilities in the EP Lab

• Perform and assist with cardiac electrophysiology studies, ablations, and device implants/explants
• Monitor hemodynamics and EKG settings for both inpatient and outpatient procedures
• Set up and operate specialized EP Lab equipment
• Accurately document procedures and patient data using Cerner
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care
• Participate in orientation and complete required training modules prior to start
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to all safety protocols
