Job Description
Join Quill as a Business Development Representative, focusing on driving new revenue and growth within the Philadelphia region. This remote position offers the chance to build strong customer relationships and contribute to a collaborative culture while achieving sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
Drive conversion of new revenue from new customers
Build territory penetration strategy
Qualify prospects based on customer size, spend, and potential
Schedule appointments and meet with prospective customers
Utilize marketing collateral for presentations
Attend conferences and events to represent Quill
Create and present custom pricing solutions
Leverage education contracts for acquiring new customers
Ensure smooth transition to the account management team
Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly quotas
Maintain accurate CRM records
Seek constant improvement and apply coaching
Positively impact culture and team dynamics
Drive revenue growth beyond traditional office supplies
Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts
Required Qualifications
High School diploma/GED
4+ years of field sales experience
Required travel within territory (approximately 50%)
Preferred Qualifications
6 months+ of relevant experience in the public sector market
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Proven business development experience
