Schedule & Work Hours:

  • Day (7:45 AM - 4:15 PM)
  • Monday through Friday
  • 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM (30-minute unpaid meal break)
  • 40 hours/week

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Physician Assistant (PA) to provide exceptional adult primary care services. The ideal candidate will deliver evidence-based care, manage acute and chronic conditions, and perform routine procedures including physical exams and Pap smears. This position is best suited for professionals who thrive in fast-paced clinical environments and maintain a high level of precision and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive physical exams with a strong emphasis on accuracy and professional standards
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions using evidence-based guidelines
  • Perform routine procedures including Pap smears
  • Counsel patients on preventive care and general wellness strategies
  • Address urgent complaints in a primary care setting with swift clinical judgment
  • Review lab results and clinical documents with attention to detail
  • Maintain accurate and timely charting in the electronic medical record system
  • Manage an average of 2–2.4 patients per hour efficiently
  • Exhibit professionalism and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies preferred
  • Active Physician Assistant License in the State of Maryland
  • High school diploma required
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in primary care or adult care setting

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

  • Certified P.A. credentials
  • Strong patient communication and counseling skills
  • Proficiency in handling EMR systems and clinical documentation
  • Ability to manage time and multitask in high-volume environments
