Job Description

As the Administrative Manager at Cooper University Health Care, you will oversee the daily operations of the Bone & Joint Institute, ensuring efficient logistical coordination and effective communication across teams. This leadership role is crucial for enhancing operational efficiency and patient access within surgical operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day administrative functions, including staffing coordination and operational support for the department
  • Oversee daily operating room workflows, authorizations, and utilization metrics
  • Generate and analyze daily reports on OR utilization and workflow trends
  • Provide oversight and leadership to administrative staff
  • Facilitate communication between administrative personnel, surgeons, and hospital departments
  • Supervise the prior authorization process

Required Qualifications

  • 3 years administrative secretarial experience
  • 1 year supervisory experience
  • Computer literate with MS Office
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration
  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare
