Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Provide timely expert medical review for requests to evaluate medical necessity
Review appeals for denied services
Conduct peer-to-peer discussions with referring physicians
Maintain necessary credentials and inform eviCore of any adverse actions
Participate in strategic planning for Care Management
Required Qualifications
M.D. or D.O.
Current, active U.S. state medical license
Board certified in Oncology
Recent practice experience in direct patient care (within the past 18 months)
Minimum of 5 years clinical experience beyond residency/fellowship
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of applicable state and federal laws
Familiarity with URAC and NCQA standards
Experience with automated processes and computer applications
