Staff RN Weekend / Operating Room

Talent4Health is seeking a local contract nurse RN CVOR for a local contract nursing job in Detroit, Michigan. Discipline: RN ~ Shift: 10 hours, days ~ Employment Type: Local Contract Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned. -Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. -Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN). Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. -Shift:0600-1430 or 0600-1630, Must be available one weekend per month, must take 24 of call per month *Schedule flexible between 5-8's, 4-10's, and 3-12's with a 6 am start time.Operating Room – Cardiac Experience Required:Must have at least 1 year of prior cardiac OR experience in a hospital setting.Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
