Key Responsibilities
Inspect air-conditioning units for efficient operation
Perform scheduled maintenance on heating and cooling units
Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions
Install, replace, or repair damaged HVAC equipment
Calibrate thermostatic controls
Maintain chilled and hot water supply systems
Adjust and maintain internal electrical and electronic control systems
Assemble and install metal ductwork
Maintain maintenance records per regulations
Collaborate with management to ensure safe working environments
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
3+ years of practical working experience in the HVAC Industry
Ability to enter into the Union Apprentice Program or currently enrolled
Ability to push/pull/lift up to 50lbs, climb a ladder and work on rooftops
Ability to stand, crawl, sit, squat for extended periods
Valid and current Driver's License and insurable by the company's insurance carrier
