Job Description
As a Maintenance Team Leader at Whole Foods Market, you will oversee the maintenance team at a metro food production facility. This role involves ensuring safety compliance, diagnosing equipment issues, and implementing effective maintenance strategies, all while fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily operations of the maintenance team
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement repair strategies
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
Conduct team member training and performance management
Required Qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
2+ years of maintenance experience in food manufacturing
12+ months of supervisory experience in food manufacturing
OSHA safety certification or relevant safety training
Ability to plan and oversee maintenance projects
In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and hydraulic systems
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant certifications such as CMRP or CPMM
Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
