TekSystems is currently hiring for a Medical Program Coordinator in the Baltimore County area!
MUST HAVE: Must have at least 2+ years in medical setting (inpatient/outpatient) as program coordinator, program specialist, lead role in patient access/auth/ins ver, Previous EPIC experience is preferred
Description
Schedules minimally invasive procedures for providers/patients
Answers phones, schedules procedures, completes authorizations & insurance verification
Downloads imaging for patients
Ensures clinical schedules are up to date, physicians are prepared each day
Develops and recommends new program goals and objectives.
Develops and schedules program work plan; oversees daily operations and coordinates activities of program
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must have at least high school diploma, addtl EDU a plus
Must have at least 2+ years in medical setting (inpatient/outpatient) as program coordinator, program specialist, lead role in patient access/auth/ins ver
Previous EPIC experience is preferred
cardiology bkgd preferred, but not a must
If they dont have EPIC they will be trained on it
Must have great customer service skills
Must be comfortable working in a high volume role/team
Must be familiar with insurance/pre-auth process
Must be able to multi-task and take on alot of projects
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
