Key Responsibilities
Serve as a consultant and clinical resource for wound, ostomy, and continence care
Provide clinical consultation and education for patients
Consult with healthcare team members to facilitate care delivery
Educate patients undergoing ostomy surgery
Determine appropriate preoperative site for stoma placement
Provide recommendations for patient care and supplies
Serve as a resource for ostomy patients
Provide follow-up care regarding wound care
Assist with topical treatment choices
Recommend standards for cost-effective care supplies
Collaborate to develop educational programs
Required Qualifications
BSN required
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New Hampshire
Certification in Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing or equivalent required
BCLS required
Preferred Qualifications
MSN preferred
2-4 years relevant nursing experience
