Job Description
Join Capital One as a Lead Platform Engineer focused on Workday Security, where you'll design and implement security measures for the HR Workday environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to safeguard sensitive data while leading strategic projects and enhancing security protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design, implementation, and management of security controls for the Workday environment.
Conduct regular security assessments and SOX audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
Implement and manage role-based access controls (RBAC) for user access levels.
Assist in the investigation and response to security incidents.
Ensure compliance with internal security policies and industry best practices.
Collaborate with IT, HR, and other business units on security requirements.
Stay informed about the latest security trends and suggest improvements.
Support SOX audit activities ensuring security controls are functioning.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
At least 6 years of experience in Information Security
At least 5 years of experience in Workday Security
At least 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role overseeing strategic projects
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
7+ years of experience in Workday security administration
2+ years of experience configuring SSO with Workday using SAML 2.0 and integrating with enterprise IdPs
Workday Pro Certification in Security
1+ years of experience with Workday Extend, Workday Prism, or Workday Financials security models
1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure or another cloud service
2+ years of experience in Agile practices
